South Australia coronovirus update as at 27 April 2021

There has been one new case of COVID-19 today, reported from a medi-hotel. There have been a total of 720 cases notified in South Australia.

Today's case is a man in his 50s who acquired his infection overseas and has been in a medi-hotel since his arrival.

Western Australia Health has recently identified a number of additional COVID-19 public exposure sites, which can be found on the WA Health website.

Anyone who has travelled to South Australia from Perth or Peel region since 17 April must get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible and isolate until you receive a negative result. You must also get tested on day 5 and day 13. Anyone who has been in Perth or Peel region are currently not permitted to enter South Australia from 12:01am Saturday 24 April. Essential travellers are permitted, but must isolate for 14 days.
