South Bunbury fire

Bunbury Detectives are seeking information regarding a fire at a home in South Bunbury this morning, 4 May 2021.

Around 1:40am, Police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire on Jarvis Street. It is believed offenders broke into the garage of the home and set fire to a Mazda CX3 parked in the garage.

The fire damaged the vehicle and garage as well as other items in the garage. The damage is estimated at $120,000.

Detectives urge anyone with information regarding this fire, or who has dash-cam vision of Jarvis street between 1am and 2.30am, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
