In a 12-hour period, five burglaries occurred, and six vehicles were stolen. The offenders involved in these incidents remain outstanding. Details of the incidents are:
• A blue Holden Cruze sedan was stolen from a residence on Great Northern Highway in Pippingarra.
• About 2.50am, unknown person(s) gained entry into a warehouse on Munda Way in Wedgefield, rummaged through items inside before stealing a white Toyota Landcruiser.
• About 4am, police located the two vehicles travelling recklessly on Murdoch Drive. A tyre deflating device was successfully deployed, causing both vehicles to be abandoned. The occupants of the vehicles then fled the area.
• Sometime between 12am and 4.30am, unknown person(s) forced entry into a building premises on Cajarina Road in Wedgefield. They stole several items, before fleeing the area in two vehicles - a grey Toyota Prado and a white Toyota Hilux.
• About 2.45am, the vehicles were sighted on Koombana Avenue and Captains Way. The attempt to intercept the vehicles was terminated due to safety concerns.
• The white Toyota Hilux was later located abandoned in an area known as Deepwater on North Circular Road.
• The grey Toyota Prado has been located.
• Sometime between 8pm and 3pm, unknown person(s) forced entry into a residence on Eucalypt Court in South Hedland. The unknown person(s) damaged multiple items and rummaged through personal belongings, before fleeing the area in a white Toyota Hilux. About 10.05am, the white Toyota Hilux was located abandoned behind a residence on Gascoyne Court.
• Sometime between 7.30pm and 6.30am, a white Toyota Hilux was stolen from an address on Delamere Place in South Hedland.
• About 5.30am, 14 September, police located the vehicle abandoned with the white Toyota Hilux in Deepwater.
