South Perth Altercation

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man after he was admitted to Fiona Stanley Hospital this morning, Saturday 18 January 2020.

About 4:30am Police were called to Fiona Stanley Hospital in relation to the death of a 46-year-old man, who had earlier been taken to hospital from his Atwell residence by St John Ambulance. The man was unresponsive, and was unable to be revived.

Police attended the hospital and it was established the man may have been involved in an altercation earlier in the morning in the vicinity of the Narrows Bridge in South Perth, somewhere between the bridge and the intersection of Mill Point Road and Harper Terrace.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the altercation, or who has CCTV or dash camera vision from the area between 1:00am and 3:00am.
