Kiama Council
Kiama Council staff and Fire and Rescue NSW officers are cleaning up a spill at Kiama Harbour.
A Fire and Rescue crew attended a spill along the stormwater drainage outlet at Black Beach on Friday morning.
They have conducted water sampling to test the material and Hazmat officials have installed a boom to stop the pollution from spreading.
The stormwater drains are being flushed and investigations are continuing into the source of the spill.
Black Beach is closed until further notice to swimming or any water-based activity.
