In the third edition of 'Spotlight On,' CommBank Young Matilda, Sarah Hunter talks about the legacy she wants to leave, when she's wearing the green and gold at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2022™.
Q1: Tell us about your football journey?
A: I started when I was four years old, my older brother signed up to play football and I'd watch from the sidelines but was really eager to play. I'd go around telling everyone that I was playing, even though I wasn't even signed up, so eventually, my mum and dad put me into my brother's team where I played for a few years.
I developed a real love, passion and competitiveness for the game and now, I play for Sydney FC in the A-League Women's.
