Sceduled works during the Sydney Road Street Party

There will be live music, food, family-friendly activities and stalls along Sydney Road Brunswick, marking the start of the 2023 Brunswick Music Festival.

The festivities will come alive on Sydney Road between Brunswick Road and Victoria Street, from 12pm to 6pm.

Public Transport Victoria recently scheduled works for this weekend that will impact passengers travelling by train. We are providing the below information to assist street party attendees.

If you're planning to travel to the event on public transport, buses will replace trains between North Melbourne and Upfield from 9.30pm Friday 3 March to last service on Sunday 5 March 2023, due to works.

Replacement bus stops closest to the street party are:

  • Brunswick Station Replacement: PTV bus stop 508 (Victoria St/ Sydney Rd Stop - South and North side)

  • Jewell Station Replacement: PTV bus stop 504 (McKay St/Brunswick Rd South and North side)

Bus detour stops may get crowded at the start and finish of the street party, so please be careful and look out for everyone's safety. Reach out to festival staff and security if you need assistance.
