Statement On Australian Health Review Journal

CSIRO

The Australian Health Review journal was previously published by CSIRO Publishing, the national science agency's editorially independent publishing arm, on behalf of the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association Limited (In liquidation).

In late 2025, the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (the Association) entered external administration following the appointment of Barry Kogan and Shane O'Keeffe of McGrathNicol as voluntary administrators, and subsequently as liquidators. Following a period of negotiation, CSIRO Publishing has entered into an agreement to formally acquire the journal.

CSIRO Publishing recognises the significant contribution the Association has made to Australia's healthcare system over many decades and is committed to continuing Australian Health Review's role as a trusted forum for health policy and health services research.
