This afternoon I met the Administrator of the Northern Territory, the Honourable Vicki O'Halloran AO, to ask her Honour to issue a writ for a by-election in the Division of Johnston, to be held on Saturday, 29 February.
All elections offer a choice for Territorians. This by-election is no different, and the choice is clear.
There is a clear choice between Territory Labor's plan for more local jobs – or more cuts, more assets sales and higher power prices under the CLP and Terry Mills.
Joel Bowden is a local community champion who will fight for more local jobs and better local schools, and stand up against the CLP's deep cuts.
