Murdoch police charge teen over stolen koala

Murdoch Police today charged a 17-year-old boy from Parkwood with several offences as a result of their investigation into the theft of 15-year-old Koala – Orana from Bibra Lake.

The boy will face the Fremantle Children's Court 4 February 2021, charged with Animal Cruelty - causing an animal unnecessary harm and Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

Inquiries into the theft are ongoing.
