NT Government

An Australian-first in 2024, the popular Track to Town is back in 2025, bringing a parade of Supercars roaring into the heart of Darwin in the lead up to the betr Darwin Triple Crown Supercars Indigenous Round.

Fans will once again have the rare opportunity to see all 25 Championship Supercars, including Tickford Racing wildcard entry and Supercars debutant Rylan Gray, cruise through the CBD before the action heats up at Hidden Valley Raceway from 20-22 June.

From 4pm on Thursday 19 June, the Track to Town Supercar convoy will travel from Hidden Valley to the Esplanade, parking between Knuckey and Herbert Street. Fans can get up close to the cars featuring Indigenous art, meet the drivers at a signing session, and enjoy live entertainment and food trucks at this free activation.

New in 2025 is the Palmerston Driver Parade on Wednesday 18 June, Supercars drivers will ride aboard the Big Bus, while dozens of Supercars prime movers roll through Palmerston. Eager fans are expected to line the streets and cheer on the Parade.

Now in its fourth year, Racing Together, an initiative that helps Indigenous youth pursue a career in motorsports, will once again field its Hyundai Excels in the Combined Sedans support category. Featuring Brisbane-based drivers Kade Davey and Karlai Warner, the program will also take part in school visits and provide hands-on experiences designed to educate, inspire, and empower local youth.

Also returning in 2025 is the popular Students on Track program. Supported by Northern Territory Major Events Company, this Supercars education initiative offers local students a behind-the-scenes look at one of the Territory's biggest sporting events. On Friday 20 June, registered schools from across the Top End can attend the first day of racing at Hidden Valley for free.

Students will enjoy talks, workshops, and exclusive access to motorsport experts from Supercars, Trans Am, Touring Car Masters, Porsche, and Combined Sedans. New this year is the Sports Precinct, where students can take part in skills sessions hosted by Tennis NT, AFLNT, NRL NT, and Touch Football NT.

The 2025 Supercars program at Hidden Valley will debut the new Super440 format, delivering a high-octane weekend of racing with two 120km sprint races on Saturday and a 200km refuelling race on Sunday, totalling 440km of racing. The coveted Triple Crown is set to go off this year, with the round champion crowned based on the most points accumulated across the weekend-not necessarily by winning all three races.

On-track action will also see the return of top-tier support categories, including Porsche Carrera Cup, Touring Car Masters, Duggan Family Hotels Combined Sedans, and the Darwin debut of the Trico Trans Am Series-V8-powered Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers roaring around Hidden Valley.

This year the betr Darwin Triple Crown, will offer racing fans even more ways to elevate their weekend. Among the premium hospitality options is the all-new Willing's on Track, an exclusive venue showcasing Territory hospitality, complete with a dedicated gin bar and front-row views of the racing and live music action.
