Cessnock City Council is excited to announce a thrilling opportunity for locals to win an unforgettable experience in the magnificent Hunter Valley.

In partnership with Beyond Ballooning and Redsalt Restaurant Rydges Resort, Council is offering two lucky adults the opportunity to soar above the picturesque landscapes of the Hunter Valley in a hot air balloon.

As part of an exclusive package, the winners will enjoy a mesmerising 60-minute hot air balloon flight and professional photo package from Beyond Ballooning, followed by a champagne breakfast at the renowned Redsalt Restaurant Rydges Resort.

Cessnock City Council Mayor Jay Suvaal expressed his encouragement for increased support of local hospitality businesses through this initiative.

"Supporting local businesses is at the heart of our community, and this competition allows us to celebrate the incredible coffee spots and breakfast destinations in our region," Clr Suvaal said.

"By participating, not only do you have a chance to win an incredible experience offering an unparalleled perspective of our beautiful region, but you also contribute to the growth and success of our local economy.

"Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or a brunch connoisseur, share the details of your favourite local café on Facebook for your chance to win."

To enter the competition, all you need to do is share where you prefer to grab your morning coffee or enjoy a delectable brunch within the Cessnock Local Government Area. Leave a comment on one of the Support Local posts on either of Council's or Advance Greater Cessnock's Facebook pages or create your own post, making sure to use the hashtag #supportlocalcessnock so your entry can be found.

The competition runs from 1 July to 31 July, 2023 and winners will be selected at random. The more entries you submit, the greater your chances of being selected to win this fantastic package valued at $458.
