Suspect sought over attempt robbery at Paralowie

Police are investigating an incident at Paralowie this morning after a man was assaulted.

About 1am on Friday 20 January, a man was sitting in his blue Honda Jazz at a fast food take-away bay on Bolivar Road when he was approached by an armed man.

The man assaulted the victim and stole the keys to his car before leaving the area.

The victim remained at his car and at 2.45am, the man returned in an attempt to steal the car. The victim was assaulted again in the process but managed to get the man out of his car.

The suspect was last seen running off north on Bolivar Road.

The victim sustained a minor injury to his hand during the assault.

Northern District Detectives have released images of the suspect in a bid to identify him.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black/dark coloured "North Face" hooded jacket, light coloured pants, black slides and a white cord from headphones hanging down the front of his jacket.
