The full program for this year's Tasting Australia presented by Journey Beyond has now been released, with tickets on sale ahead of the event's return from 8 to 17 May.

More than 150 events across the State make up this year's program, which features the nation's leading chefs, makers and producers coming together, with all of South Australia's regions as the backdrop.

The 2026 program will showcase an impressive lineup of international talent, including;

  • American sommelier André Hueston Mack sharing his favourite wines;
  • Michelin-starred Spanish chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho on-board The Ghan;
  • Martin Kjäll from Stockholm's acclaimed Restaurant AG cooking alongside Jake Kellie in a fire-driven feast, and;
  • Hong Kong's Bar Leone taking over Adelaide's Honeydripper on Frome Street in collaboration with Never Never.

As an Australian exclusive, a collective of Europe's most disruptive chefs, Punk Royale, will bring their infamous playful style and distinctive take on modern dining to Adelaide across two show-stopping events, while South Australia's own, Poh Ling Yeow, will invite food lovers to discover the vibrant flavours of Southeast Asia.

Heart of the festival, Town Square will return to Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga to play host to some of the programming highlights. New to Town Square is Good Neighbour presented by Mitolo Family Farms, Tasting Australia's very own neighbourhood wine bar.

Adelaide venues will connect people through shared places, stories and food. This is brought to life through the new Club Series, which invites guests inside Adelaide's treasured cultural clubs, where Australia's top chefs collaborate on the menu with local resident cooks, celebrating the culture and community of each venue.

This year's Tasting Australia will follow the Adelaide Festival and Adelaide Fringe, plus major sporting events including the Santos Tour Down Under, Adelaide International, LIV Golf and the AFL Gather Round. Together these events contribute to record high results for the State's tourism industry.

Plus, with more international flights coming into Adelaide than ever before, even more global visitors have direct access to the nation's official Best Event State.

Tasting Australia remains a highlight of our state's events calendar, and each year we are proud to showcase South Australia's world class produce to visitors from across the country.

A standout feature of the festival is its strong connection to our regions, where so much of our exceptional produce is grown.

Through immersive and authentic food and drink experiences, Tasting Australia creates lasting memories that can only be found here, while giving our producers a powerful platform to celebrate the quality and diversity of South Australian produce year round.

The event reinforces South Australia's standing as the national leader in good food and wine and continues a strong line up of events and festivals in 2026.

As put by Duncan Welgemoed Festival Curator

The 2026 program is shaped around the shared experiences that unite family, friends, food, beverage and the land we call home.

This year, our most loved hospitality venues are implemented more than ever before and new elements such as Good Neighbour presented by Mitolo Family Farms in Town Square will showcase the creativity and excellence of our industry.

Tasting Australia continues to spotlight the people who make South Australia such an extraordinary place, and I look forward to sharing the very best our state has to offer in May.
