A taxi driver has been robbed of his vehicle at Parafield Gardens this morning.
About 9.30am on Tuesday 15 February, a man armed with a knife approached a taxi driver at Morgan Street. He pushed the driver out of the taxi before driving away in it.
The 37-year-old driver was not injured in the incident.
The stolen taxi was tracked and found abandoned in a shopping centre carpark on Martins Road a short time later.
Northern District CIB are investigating.
