Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a teenager for his alleged involvement in a highly coordinated surveillance operation.
On Saturday 18 April 2026, police were called to a home on Fairmont Street, Merrylands, and Woodstock Street, Guildford, following reports of shots fired.
Officers attached to Task Force Falcon attended and established crime scenes at both locations.
While responding, police observed a black SUV travelling on Woodville Road, Merrylands.
The vehicle allegedly failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated, before it was terminated for safety reasons.
The vehicle was found abandoned on Alexander Street, Fairfield, and following a search of the area, a 17-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station.
Following a subsequent search, police allegedly located and seized firearms and two jerry cans.
The pair were charged and remain before the courts.
Following extensive inquiries, police became aware that highly organised surveillance was being conducted on a 44-year-old man allegedly linked to the two younger men, responsible for the shootings.
On Tuesday, a woman was charged for her alleged involvement in the surveillance operation and remains before the courts.
Just after 5pm yesterday (Wednesday 13 May 2026), taskforce detectives executed a search warrant in Northmead.
About 8am today (Thursday 14 May 2026), a 16-year-old male was arrested at Parramatta Police Station.
He was charged with attempt stalk/intimidate intend fear of harm (personal) and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
The teen was refused bail to appear in a children's court today.
