Teen drink driver arrested after crashing into car in Glen Iris

A P-plate driver has written off her vehicle and is expected to be charged with drink-driving offences after a crash in Glen Iris this morning.

Malvern police arrived at the scene of the crash at the intersection of Burke and Glenvale roads while on patrol around 6.30am.

It's believed three people were travelling in a car when it crashed into a parked vehicle.

The car was deemed a write-off, and the parked vehicle was significantly damaged in the crash.

The driver, a 19-year-old Endeavor Hills woman, returned an evidentiary breath test of .154.

She is expected to be charged on summons with a range of offences including exceed prescribed concentration of alcohol and fail to have an interlock installed in the vehicle.

No one was injured during the incident.
