A teenage girl missing from Lake Illawarra has been located safe and well.
The 14-year-old girl was last seen on New Lake Entrance Road, Warilla, about 10.30am today (Tuesday 6 September 2022).
When she could not be located, she was reported missing to officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a public appeal with a geo-targetting message, the girl was located just after 4.30pm today (Tuesday 6 September 2022).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
