A teenage girl missing from the Shellharbour area has been located safe and well.
The 13-year-old was last seen at a home in Oak Flats, about 9.30pm Monday (24 October 2022).
When she could not be located the following morning, officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Following inquiries and a public appeal for assistance, the girl returned home about 11.30am today (Wednesday 26 October 2022).
