Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the state's south.
Lauren Rafferty, aged 12, was last seen about 1.30pm yesterday (Sunday 9 May 2021) on Scherger Place, Mount Austin.
Officers from Riverina Police District were notified of her disappearance after she failed to return home later that evening and commenced an investigation.
Lauren is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 155cm tall, thin build with brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a black jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.
Her disappearance is out of character and police and family have concerns for her welfare.
