A teenage girl missing from the states north has been located.
The 16-year-old girl was last seen at Port Macquarie, about 1pm yesterday (Friday 5 August 2022).
When she could not be located or contacted, she was reported missing to officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District, who commenced inquiries to locate her.
Following inquiries and a public appeal, the girl was located at Lake Cathie about 4.30am today (Saturday 6 August 2022).
She has been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
