Teenager dies in hospital after Strathfieldsaye collision

A teenage boy has died in hospital after a serious collision in Strathfieldsaye on 28 December.

The 16-year-old California Gully boy was riding a BMX bicycle on Strathfieldsaye Road when it collided with a vehicle about 10.30pm.

The teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later passed away.

The driver of the car, a 24-year-old Kennington woman stopped at the scene.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
