NDS is pleased to inform members that all participant plans developed from 1 July will be constructed on the assumption that providers will charge at the price cap on eligible supports that includes the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP). Members will be aware that all existing plans were indexed for wage grow, the Equal Remuneration Order, CPI and the TTP just prior to July. Disappointingly, new plans since July (for both existing and new participants) have not been funded to include the 7.5% TTP on eligible supports.NDS raised this with the Agency as a matter requiring urgent attention. We have just been informed that this will be remedied; where a participant is funded to receive attendant care, community participation and/or group supports, the calculation of funding for those supports will be done using the TTP-included price caps.The Agency has not yet indicated how it will adjust the funding in plans developed since July but we assume that this will occur shortly.There are still a number of outstanding problems with the Price Guide and Support Catalogue which we hope the Agency will address as soon as possible.
