Three parties who were successful through an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the design and construction of the Greenmount water treatment plant have been formally invited to submit a tender.
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) last year received a strong response from industry as part of the EOI process, reflecting the importance of the project.
The tender process marks a key milestone in this vital community infrastructure project.
It will ensure the selection of a contractor capable of delivering the plant to the highest standards.
TRC Deputy Mayor and Strategic Water Planning and Capital Delivery portfolio spokesperson Cr Rebecca Vonhoff said the plant will be located on Council-owned land at 13 Haldon Street in Greenmount.
