Kiama Council contractors will be resealing Terralong Street next week as part of our Road Resurfacing Program for 2022-23.
Our contractors will be doing the work at night (7pm to 5am) on:
- Wednesday 10 May
- Thursday 11 May
The work will start at the Manning Street intersection (near the Post Office) and finish at the intersection at Havilah Place (near Kiama Leisure Centre).
Traffic controllers will be present to help local residents, businesses and delivery drivers access their properties.
To ensure your safety and to complete the work as per this schedule, we ask motorists to park your vehicles 'off street' during this work.
Contractors will also be resurfacing roundabouts next week at the following intersections:
- Belinda and Fern Streets – Sunday 7 May
- Belinda and Greta Streets – Monday 8 May
- Manning and Barney Streets – Tuesday 9 May
This work is also being done at night (7pm to 5am), to minimise disruption for our residents, businesses and visitors.
Kiama Council is investing more than $1.8 million in maintaining our roads and bridges in 2022-23.
Local roads represent the largest infrastructure Council manages, worth more than $133 million.
Our buildings are the second biggest asset, valued at more than $100 million.
