Theft of $10,000 jacket from South Wharf

Police are investigating after a man has casually walked out of Georgie Armani with a $10,000 jacket down his pants earlier this year.

Investigators have been told the man attended the store in South Wharf on 8 June about 2.45pm.

The man took a black leather jacket into a change room and allegedly put the pricey item down his pants.

The man walked out of the store without paying for the jacket.

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, medium build and short dark hair that is balding on top.

He was wearing a black long-sleeved jumper, black pants and black Nike runners.
