Joondalup Detectives have charged a third person as a result of their investigation into an incident that occurred on Sunday, 22 January 2017.
It will be alleged the two people entered a home in Malleefowl Way Alkimos and assaulted a 21 year old man who was an occupant of the home, WA Police say.
The victim received serious injuries to his hand and back.
A 33 year old man from Maddington has been charged with:-
•Aggravated Burglary and Commit;
•Aggravated Armed Assault with Intent to Rob;
•Grievous Bodily Harm and
•Act or Omission causing Bodily Harm.
•Possession of a Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine)
•Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court today, 12 June 2017.
Detectives have previously charged a 28 year old Gosnells man and a 20 year old Kingsley woman in relation to this incident.
