Three Charged in Five-Year Far North Fraud Probe

Detectives from the Cairns Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a fourth person in relation to a protracted fraud investigation.

On 10 June, police arrested a 37-year-old Coen woman in Coen.

It will be alleged she used funds to purchase a private suite and catering at a rugby league games in Brisbane between 2022 and 2025.

She was charged with one count of dishonestly apply property as director over $30,000.

She is due to appear in the Coen Magistrates Court on 8 July.
