Three stabbed in Melbourne's CBD

Police are investigating after three men were stabbed in Melbourne's CBD this morning.

It's believed an altercation occurred between two groups of men in a licensed venue at the corner of Lonsdale and King streets about 6am.

Two men were taken to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other with serious injuries.

A third man self-presented at hospital with an arm injury.

The two offenders fled the scene and no arrests have been made at this stage.

Police have closed the intersection of Lonsdale and King streets while they investigate.
