H. E. Professor Robert Dussey, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, African Integration and Togolese Abroad, and Mr Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, signed the Togolese Country Programme Framework (CPF) for the period of 2026-2031 on 09 February 2026. A CPF is the frame of reference for the medium-term planning of technical cooperation between a Member State and the IAEA and identifies priority areas where the transfer of nuclear technology and technical cooperation resources will be directed to support national development goals.
The Togolese Republic has been an IAEA Member State since 2012. Its 2026-2031 CPF identifies four priority areas:
Food and Agriculture
Health and Nutrition
Water and the Environment
Energy and Industry
