Two people have died after a tree fell onto their car in Sherbrooke this evening.
Police believe a vehicle was travelling north along Monbulk Road when a gum tree fell on the moving car just after 5.30pm.
The driver and front passenger died at the scene.
They are both yet to be formally identified.
Knox Highway Patrol officers will investigate and prepare a report for the Coroner.
