Two Teenagers Charged Over Ram Raid At Berkeley Vale

Two teenage boys have been charged over an alleged ram raid on the Central Coast earlier this week.

About 2.20am on Wednesday 30 July 2025, police were called to a business on Lakedge Avenue, Berkeley Vale, following reports of a ram raid.

Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and were told an allegedly stolen Mazda sedan has been rammed into a shop front, before a group of males allegedly stole multiple boxes of vapes and left the scene.

The shop sustained significant damage.

Police established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the incident.

The Mazda was later located abandoned at Killarney Vale. The vehicle is alleged to have been stolen from Long Jetty between Monday (28 July 2025) and 2am Wednesday (30 July 2025).

Following inquiries, two 14-year-old boys were arrested in Killarney Vale about 5.30pm yesterday (Friday 1 August 2025). They were both taken to Wyong Police Station.

One of the boys was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal and be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.

He was refused bail to appear before a children's court today (Saturday 2 August 2025).

The second boy was charged with aggravated break and enter dwelling etc in company steal, shoplifting and be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner.

He was granted conditional bail to appear before a children's court on Tuesday 12 August 2025.
