UFC Fight Night Perth Dates Set for Exclusive Showdown

  • UFC Fight Night Perth to be held on Sunday, 28 September 2025
  • Only UFC Fight Night event scheduled to take place in Australia this year
  • Supported by the Cook Government, through Tourism WA

UFC fans will descend on Perth on Sunday, 28 September when UFC Fight Night comes to town for an Australian-exclusive showdown at RAC Arena.

As the only UFC Fight Night scheduled to take place in Australia this year and the first Fight Night to ever take place in Perth, the event is expected to bring thousands of out-of-State visitors to Western Australia, while also attracting a significant global broadcast audience.

The event is also the first UFC Fight Night to take place in Australia since 2018, when it was hosted in Adelaide.

Supported by the Cook Government, through Tourism WA, UFC Fight Night will bring some of the sport's best local and international athletes to RAC Arena, with the full fight card to be announced in the coming weeks.

September's UFC Fight Night continues WA's momentum as one of the sport's most accomplished host destinations, following the success of 2024's UFC 305, which attracted a sold-out crowd of more than 14,000 fans and broke the record for the highest-grossing event in RAC Arena history, surpassing the previous benchmark set by UFC 284 in 2023.

There are now more than 700 million UFC fans across the world, including a combined 309 million followers across UFC's social media channels. In Australia and New Zealand combined, UFC counts more than 4.3 million fans and 10 million social media followers.

UFC is a global powerhouse with the organisation broadcasting to over 950 million households across more than 170 countries.

The UFC hype is set to continue beyond 2025, with UFC confirmed to return to Perth with a premium pay-per-view event in 2026.

The announcement comes after Perth-born UFC fighter Jack Della Maddalena's recent win at UFC 315 in Montreal, which saw him crowned UFC welterweight champion, making him only the third Australian ever to win a UFC title.

"The Cook Government is always looking to grow the State's tourism sector by attracting year-round events, and welcoming UFC back to Perth is part of our strategy to diversify the State's economy.

"This exclusive UFC Fight Night will put eyes from across the world on Perth as fans look to see who the next title contenders will be."
