The Honorary MBE was awarded by His Majesty King Charles III in 2023, in recognition of Mr Kuwahara's exceptional contribution to furthering UK-Japan cooperation in the civil nuclear sector.
Kazumasa Kuwahara has had a long and distinguished career dedicated to close collaboration between the UK and Japan in the civil nuclear industry. The UK-Japan relationship in civil nuclear continues to deepen and grow, and Mr. Kuwahara's long service to the UK has played a significant part in making this possible.
