Staff who have been affected by Professor Arday's death can access confidential support through the University's Employee Assistance Programme, Spectrum.Life , which is available 24 hours a day to University employees, their partners and dependants. Staff can also speak to their line manager or other appropriate colleagues if they need support.
Students can seek support through their college welfare team and through the University's Student Welfare and Support Services . Confidential support is available through the Counselling Service, alongside other specialist services, and students can also seek advice through their department or Oxford SU.
Any member of staff who is concerned about media attention arising from these events can also seek advice and support through the University's communications teams.
