Unlawful Wounding, Rochedale

Police are appealing for public information following reports of shots fired at a Rochedale property around 4.38am this morning, 2 August.

Initial investigations indicate two male offenders attempted to break into a Fisher Street property, shortly before multiple shots were allegedly fired.

A man and woman, both in their 30s, received gun-shot wounds. They were transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where they remain for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The offenders were last seen leaving the property on foot.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage within the vicinity of Fisher Street from 4am this morning, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
