Unleash potential of Paragon Café

We have the surroundings, we have the atmosphere - we just need the flavour and ambition!

The current lease for one of Swan Hill's prime hospitality locations, the Paragon Cafe, is due to end in July 2023 and expressions of interest are now open for new management.

Pioneer Settlement General Manager, Jessica Warburton said the charming main street landscape, combined with the tranquility of the Little Murray River and towering gums, the Paragon Cafe presents a wonderful business opportunity for interested parties.

"Located within the Pioneer Settlement, not only is this a popular tourism destination, but it is also situated on one of Swan Hill's most beautiful walking tracks, central to the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery and Big 4 Riverside Caravan Park. The heavy foot traffic presents more opportunities to capitalise on," Ms Warburton said.

"The Paragon eagerly awaits innovation to unlock new opportunities and potential. The commercial kitchen and dining space is equipped and ready to walk into.

"Continue with the traditional menu that complements the Pioneer Settlement or give it your own modern twist.

"The scope allows for vast opportunities beyond your traditional dining, with existing clientele for you to capitalise on, think: functions, school groups and coach groups.

"New plans for the Pioneer Settlement combined entry and Information Centre only means more future growth, and we are committed to offer the support and guidance for the Paragon Café to grow with us," Ms Warburton said.

Ms Warburton said that given the tourism industry the Café operates within, there is a requirement for it to be trading a minimum of 7 days a week, 10am-2pm.

"We are eager to further discuss these terms and the opportunities with prospective operators, and will be offering the opportunity for onsite information sessions for interested parties," Ms Warburton said.
