  • Australia's own sweetheart, Kylie Minogue is giving Perth fans the chance to go behind the scenes of her stellar international career with a very special look at 25 years of incredible concert performances.

Drawn from Kylie's spectacular stage wardrobe, which is part of the Arts Centre Melbourne's Performing Arts Collection, Kylie on Stage is a major exhibition, which includes dozens of magnificent costumes dating back to 1989, as well as those from more recent tours such as Kylie Aphrodite Les Folies in 2011.

National and international designers are featured including Dolce and Gabbana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Mark Burnett and Peter Morrissey.

The exhibition also features a selection of designs, working drawings and video footage that explores the creative process behind each costume, and provides rare glimpses into the world backstage.

The WA Maritime Museum in Fremantle will throw the doors open to Kylie on Stage this Saturday (February 16). The exhibition runs until June 9, 2019 and is another great example of the Western Australian Museum doing surprising things in surprising places while the new museum for Western Australia is being developed in Perth.

In addition to the exhibition, fans will also have the chance to celebrate all things Kylie with a series of fabulous pop-up events.

Kylie on Stage is a touring exhibition proudly presented by Arts Centre Melbourne and the Australian Music Vault, and is supported by Creative Victoria. The principal partner for the WA show is DFO Perth.
