Territorians in the Top End have access to a broad range of options to get their COVID-19 vaccinations, with the Northern Territory Government opening two new clinics in Coolalinga and Palmerston last month.

Starting from Monday 18 October, the Palmerston COVID-19 Vaccination Hub will expand operations from five days per week, from Wednesday to Sunday to seven days per week.

The new opening hours are:

Monday and Tuesday: 9:00am to 4:00pmWednesday and Thursday: 9:00am to 6:00pmFriday: 9:00am to 3:30pmSaturday and Sunday: 9:00am to 2:30pm

The Palmerston COVID-19 Vaccination Hub accepts both online bookings and walk-ins from the community.

In order to boost the efficiency of the vaccine rollout in the Top End, the Tracy Village Vaccination Clinic will close on Friday, 29 October due to a decrease in bookings at the clinic.

Anyone who has booked a first or second vaccination at the Tracy Village Vaccination Clinic will be contacted to have their booking transferred to the nearby Darwin COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in Marrara.

The Darwin COVID-19 Vaccination Centre is open daily and has capacity to provide 4500 vaccinations per week.

Since mid-August, a mobile vaccination team travelling to areas of need in Darwin to ensure those who are unable to access health services can get vaccinated.

To compliment this service, starting on Monday 18 October, pop-up vaccination clinics will commence at work sites and other community gatherings.
