Detectives investigating the alleged abduction of a 12-year-old boy at Mudgeeraba earlier this month have identified a 20-year-old man who may be able to assist them with their investigations.
The 12-year-old boy was allegedly abducted from Clover Hill Drive on May 11 before being located in New South Wales on May 12.
A 53-year-old man has already been charged in relation to the matter.
Investigators believe Yu (Sunny) Zhang (pictured) may also have information about the case and are appealing for public assistance to help locate him.
Mr Zhang is described as having an Asian appearance with a slim build and is believed to frequent the Sydney area.
Members of the public with information about his whereabouts is urged not to approach him but to contact police immediately.
