The Cross Border-Associated Direction has been updated in South Australia.
The Cross Border-Associated Direction No 35 comes into effect at 12.01am Saturday 24 April 2021.
The changes are:
- Travellers who have arrived from the Western Australia restricted zone comprising the Perth Region and Peel Region between Saturday 17 April 2021 and 12.01am on Saturday 24 April 2021 are subject to level 3 requirements.
- Level 3 requirements are:
- Must submit to a COVID-19 test within 24 hrs of arrival then again on day 5 and 13
- Must quarantine until they get a negative test result
- Must not enter or remain in a high risk setting for a period of 14 days after arrival
- Must not attend any event with an approved COVID Management Plan or at which more than 1000 people are present for a period of 14 days after arrival
- Level 3 requirements are:
- As of 12.01am on Saturday 24 April 2021 travellers from Western Australia restricted zone comprising the Perth Region and Peel Region will be subject to Level 6 requirements (prohibited from entry).
- Travellers from Western Australia restricted zone that are, permitted arrivals (genuine relocations, escaping domestic violence and returning SA residents and essential travellers) will be subject to Level 4 requirements.
- Level 4 requirements are:
- Must self-quarantine for 14 days after arrival
- Must submit to a COVID-19 test within 24 hrs of arrival then again on days 5 and 13
- Must wear a mask (covering mouth and nose) anytime they come into contact with the public for 14 days after arrival
- Level 4 requirements are:
- Western Australia restricted zone arrivals means a person who has at any time during the period of 14 days before arrival been in the Western Australia restricted zones of Perth and Peel regions.
This Direction should be read in conjunction with the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-General)(COVID-19 ) Direction 2021.
The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel – Associated Direction No 4)(COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel – Associated Direction No 5)(COVID-19) Direction 2021.
