Updated Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction 16 July 2021, South Australia

COVID-19 Directions have been updated in South Australia.

The changes are as follow:

Cross Border Travel Direction No 31

The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel – Associated Direction No 31) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 came into effect at 5.22 pm Friday 16 July 2021.

The following change is in place

People who are overseas arrivals having completed 14 days quarantine in New South Wales or ACT who transit immediately from supervised quarantine via air or road and arrive in South Australia, are subject to Level 4 requirements on arrival which are:

  • COVID Test day 1, 5 & 13
  • Self-quarantine for 14 days
  • Must wear a mask (covering nose and mouth) at any time they come into contact with the public for 14 days after arrival.

The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction No 30) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction No 31) (COVID-19)
