UQ Climbs World Rankings To No. 73

University of Queensland

The University of Queensland has risen seven places to rank =73rd in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027.

UQ has placed 4th nationally overall and 75th globally for Research Environment and Industry - UQ's two strongest performing metrics.

Since last year, UQ has improved across 4 out of 5 pillars - Teaching, Research environment, Research quality and Industry.

This result reflects the contributions of the UQ community, particularly our teaching and research staff, and reaffirms our ongoing commitment to provide a high-quality education, deliver impactful research and work closely with industry to solve challenges.

The rankings evaluate more than 2,000 universities worldwide, providing a comprehensive measure of institutional performance and impact on the global stage.
