The Chief Fire Control Officer, Bushfires NT and the Acting Director, NT Fire andRescue Service have EXTENDED the current 24 HOUR FIRE BANPERIOD for Thursday 10 October 2019for the following areas.
NORTHERN FIRE PROTECTION ZONE, DARWIN AND ADELAIDE RIVER, CARPENTARIAEAST, DALY SOUTH AND GREGORY NORTH WEST FIRE WEATHER FORECAST AREAS
No person shall light a fire or cause a fire to be lit in the open in theportion of the Northern Territory within the fire ban areas.
This includes DARWIN, BATCHELOR, ADELAIDERIVER, PINE CREEK and BORROLOOLA EMERGENCY RESPONSE AREAS and theLITCHFIELD MUNICIPALITY and COOMALIE SHIRE.
Theupdated Fire Ban is valid from 1000 to midnight.
