US Hosts 10th UN Anti-Corruption Convention in Atlanta

For the first time in recent history, the United States is hosting a major UN conference outside of United Nations in New York. From December 11-15, the Conference of the States Parties (COSP10) will convene in Atlanta the 190 states parties to the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), as well as a variety of stakeholders from around the world including representatives from international organizations, civil society, young people, and the private sector. COSP10 will gather global leaders to make policy decisions and to continue its work in charting the way forward for the international community in the prevention and fight against corruption. Nearly 1,000 representatives from non-governmental organizations registered to attend, which is nearly three times the number from any previous COSP.

COSP10 will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The United States is organizing signature pre-events on December 9 and 10, including an Academic Symposium, a Young Changemakers Event, and an Anti-Corruption Civil Society Forum.
