Today in Warsaw, Poland, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Thomas DiNanno, on behalf of the United States Government, participated in a $4 billion Foreign Military Financing (FMF) loan guarantee agreement with the Republic of Poland, marking the latest milestone in the enduring strategic partnership between the United States and one of NATO's most capable and committed allies.
The signing follows a series of recent milestones in U.S.-Poland defense cooperation, including a ceremony in May 2026 marking a new era of interoperability between the U.S. and Polish air forces with the delivery of F-35 aircraft.
Poland has significantly expanded its defense capabilities in recent years, including the acquisition of Apache helicopters, Patriot missile systems, HIMARS, advanced radar technologies, and F-35 aircraft. These investments bolster Poland's national defense and strengthen the U.S. Defense Industrial Base.
