The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) has administered over 200,000 vaccines to residents of rural and regional Western Australia.
From Kalumburu in the State's far north to Albany in its south, clinicians are delivering the vaccine across an area spanning some 2.5 million square kilometres.
The McGowan Government has been working with resource companies, industry and the Commonwealth Government to make the vaccine easier to access in regional towns.
State-run COVID-19 vaccination clinics now operate across more than 100 locations, in addition to pop-up clinics being run across the State.
The emergence of these pop-up mass vaccination clinics is boosting vaccination rates in regional Western Australia - allowing country residents to walk-in to receive the vaccine at a time and place that suits their needs.
WACHS has also been working with Aboriginal Medical Services (AMS) and Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) to ensure even the most remote communities are protected against COVID-19.
To date, more than 280,000 country residents have been vaccinated by all providers, representing 67 per cent of the regional population.

"It's been great to see our country residents rolling up their sleeves. I applaud their commitment to keeping their communities safe and protected from COVID-19.
"I commend the WA Country Health Service for reaching this significant milestone. In particular, the efforts to ensure our most vulnerable communities are given vaccine information and the opportunity to get vaccinated.
"I also acknowledge the role of country GPs and pharmacists in regional WA.
"The success of vaccination clinics across the State is making it easier than ever before for our country communities to access a COVID-19 vaccination close to home.
"Let's keep the momentum going. COVID-19 vaccines are available to everybody aged 12 and over and I encourage all eligible country residents to visit their nearest vaccination clinic."
