Police and emergency services are responding to reports of a vehicle being on fire on Auckland's South-Western Motorway, near Manukau.
Police were notified of the vehicle crash, and subsequent car fire, near the Puhinui Road and Cavendish Drive on ramps at 3.51pm, and Police, Fire and Emergency and ambulance are in attendance.
It's understood the driver was able to get out safely and reportedly has minor injuries.
Motorists are advised to take an alternative route and to avoid the area if possible.
Traffic is down to one lane and delays are expected.
