- Cook Government proudly backing Team WA at the 14th Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition
 - 42 defence businesses from WA will exhibit on the Defence West stand
 - Premier defence event to unlock opportunity, help create jobs and diversify WA's economy

Western Australia's leading defence and maritime innovators will showcase at the 14th Indo Pacific Sea Power Conference and International Maritime Exposition (INDOPAC 2025) in Sydney over the next two days.
Team WA - a 42-strong delegation of local small and medium businesses - will exhibit cutting-edge products, services and expertise to global defence leaders, maritime agencies, and industry decision-makers from across the Indo-Pacific.
This year's theme, Strength at Sea = Security and Prosperity at Home, drives home the message that Australia's naval power is central to our national security and way of life.
Western Australia continues to strengthen its reputation as the nation's home of defence manufacturing and AUKUS, supported by major Commonwealth investments including the future base for Australia's conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarines under AUKUS, plans for a Defence Precinct at Henderson, and the upcoming build of Australia's new general-purpose frigates.
Past Team WA participants - including Innovaero, Franmarine, Blacktree Technology, Onetide and Greenroom Robotics - have forged key international partnerships and pilot opportunities with defence primes and naval forces in the United Kingdom and United States.

As stated by Defence Industries Minister Paul Papalia:
"Defence is on track to become Western Australia's second-largest economic driver, and INDOPAC gives our local companies the platform to showcase their expertise.
"The event also helps shine a spotlight on WA as the nation's home of AUKUS and a world-class shipbuilder.
"Through INDOPAC, the Cook Government is helping WA defence businesses break into global markets, attract investment, and develop advanced manufacturing skills that will secure our State's economic future."
