Perth, WA — 1st September WorkSafe WA prosecutions over the past 12 months have seen fines ranging from ranging from under $100,000 to nearly $1 million. Most recently, WorkSafe WA confirmed it is investigating a fatality at a mine site near Wiluna on 21 August 2025. While details are still emerging, the incident comes after multiple prosecutions by WorkSafe WA in the past 12 months over fatalities and serious injuries in mining, construction and related sectors.
